buffer definition ✓

SYNTAX

   ... = #[xx...
   ... = #[xx...]

PURPOSE

ugBASIC is able to define a byte buffer “in line”, ie directly in the code. This can be useful in those occasions where it is necessary to include binary data, not being able to access an external file.

The definition of a buffer occurs with the sequence of the hash operator (#) followed by the opening square bracket ([), by the hexadecimal couples and, optionally, terminated by the closing square bracket.

EXAMPLE

  y = #[424280
  x = #[424280]
