= DUP( string, times )
The DUP
command allows you to duplicate portions of text
within a program. This feature is especially useful when you
need to repeat a sequence of characters multiple times, without
having to retype it manually.
The DUP
command can be combined with other commands to create
more complex effects. You can concatenate the result of DUP
with
other strings to form sentences or paragraphs. You can assign the
result of DUP
to a variable for later use. You can combine it
with other string manipulation functions to create even more customized
effects. Displaying an increasing number of characters in a bar can use DUP
,
as well as to write tables or reports with fixed-width columns.
PRINT DUP( "***", 10 )
